Integrated Science Program

Mondays 9 am - 10am

Wednesdays 7pm-8pm

 

This course is designed to give students a broad and engaging experience in a variety of sciences ranging from:

 

Paleontology - The study of plant and animal fossils, focusing on those of dinosaurs.

Physics - The science pertaining to the nature and properties of matter and energy.

Meteorology - The study of the atmosphere and patterns in weather systems.

Marine Biology - The study of lifeforms in the ocean.

Anatomy - The science of bodily structure of humans, animals, and other living organisms.

Biology - The study of living organisms and their behavior and physiology.

Zoology - The examination of the behavior, structure, physiology, classification, and distribution of animals.

Neurology - The science of the nervous system and its anatomy, functions, and organic disorders.

 

Students who are interested in exploring science through a hands-on learning experience are encouraged to join this class - no prior knowledge is necessary.  Classes will include guided lectures to structure learning and trivia games will be played to assess the level of knowledge students have gained throughout the course.  Laboratory & fieldtrips included.

 

 

Note: This course will use a mix of voice and text and requires students to be able to hear, along with having a basic level of RP/Emote skill.
