EPS Cheer Squad

 

Tuesdays & Thursdays 4:00 - 5:00 pm

There will be an official varsity squad and junior-varsity squad.

 

All girls interested in cheer this term will be required to try out for a position on the squad.

 

Some cuts will have to be made and will be based on a specific set of criteria that will be printed and distributed for clarification.

 

Please save questions pertaining to  uniforms, they will be displayed at the cheer info meeting and will be mandatory for all squad members to wear.

 

No changes will be made to the color, design, or cut of the uniforms (everyone has their own opinions about how short or long a skirt should be - EPS is a place that promotes a safe PG environment, so all dress codes adhere to that standard).

 

Accepting membership to the squad means you accept the uniform as is.

 

There will be an initial information meeting and formal tryout schedule that will detail the plans for EPS cheer this term.

 

 Varsity Cheer Captain - Pihra Carerra

(There will be a new Varsity Cheer Captain 2nd term)

 

During term, the Varsity Cheer captain will nominate a specific number of girls (both for the Varsity and JV squad) who will be eligible to  be listed on an official ballot for squad members to elect girls to become the new co- captain for Varsity, and a new Captain and Co-Captain for JV.

 

The Co-Captain for Varsity will be responsible for periodically checking in with the progress of the JV squad.

 

There will  only be one Captain and Co- Captain for each squad.
